Some details about me and my vision
I
have a way of capturing the poetry of a moment in time. I view the
world differently than
others but maintain a commercial 'look and
feel' about my work. I create powerful iconic
branding images that
connects with an audience on an emotional level. This unique view of
the
world, combined with an emotionally charged commercial appeal is what
separates me
from other photographers.
My work is not about
copying the styles of other photographers,but rather in creating
something
special that I can call my own; I only create Alan
Barrientos type of photographs.The challenge of each
shoot
inspires me. I live for the challenge of overcoming obstacles and
producing works that reach
a broader audience on an emotional
level.
My desire is to work outside of my comfort level, on the
razor’s edge of my ability. I enjoy the
challenges of creating an
eclectic body of work. My portfolio represents only a portion of the
work
I have produced that I was proud of creating. It is representative of
the quality of the work
I am able to produce but is not meant to be
confused with being the only kind of work I am able
to create. I
view these works as a milestone of where I was at that point in time in
my career
but, not where I will ultimately be winding up.
